If your household income is low, you may be entitled to a BIG reduction through the Big Difference Scheme.

If eligible for the scheme, you could receive a discount on your Severn Trent water bill.

How to Submit an Application

In order to submit an application we will need proof of all household income. If you have family members over 18 within the household, their income will need to be included within the assessment.
Please ensure you have these ready to upload when completing your application. You will not be able to submit your application without attaching the documents listed above.

Applications submitted with insufficient information will be declined.

If accepted onto this scheme Severn Trent Water will share information with credit reference agencies, and this could influence your credit status.

It is currently taking up to 4 weeks to process new applications.

Customer Assistance Scheme

Severn Trent are now offering free Income Maximisation, Debt Advice and white goods to their customers who need additional support. This includes the identification of unclaimed welfare benefit entitlements, personal budgeting and money management advice. There is also a small pot of money available to help those who are without essential kitchen appliances such as cookers, washing machines and fridge-freezers.
